Anonymous, circa 310-300 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 6.26 g, 11 h), Neapolis (?). Bearded head of Mars to left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; to right, [oak spray]. Rev. Head of a bridled horse to right on base inscribed ROMANO; to left, stalk of grain. Crawford 13/1. HN Italy 266. RBW 3. Sydenham 1. Nicely toned. Several scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
